Agartala, April 9 -- The Ministry of Tribal Welfare has approved six new Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) for Tripura, said state's Tribal Affairs Minister Bikash Debbarma here on Wednesday. Talking to media, Debbarma said the setting up of a new EMRS was approved after a crucial meeting he had with Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Welfare, Bibhu Nair in Delhi on Monday during his visit to further strengthen the education infrastructure in rural and hilly areas of the state.
