Hyderabad, Sept. 16 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has announced major infrastructure projects worth Rs 150 crore for the Karimnagar Parliament constituency.
The Centre has approved construction of a high-level bridge across the Maneru River at Ganneruvaram with Rs 77 crore, double-lane expansion of the Arnakonda-Mallyala Cross Road in Choppadandi constituency with Rs 50 crore, and road widening from Vemulawada to Sirikonda with Rs 23 crore.
The projects are part of the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF), under which Telangana has received Rs 868 crore for 34 proposals covering 412 km. Out of this, Karimnagar alone received Rs 150 crore.
