Patna , Feb. 22 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that the centre has sanctioned the construction of new expressways, high-speed corridors and bridges in the state.
Sinha told newspersons here on Saturday that these roads and highways and the development projects will not only improve connectivity in the state but will also boost industrial and economic development.
He said that the centre and the state both were extending full cooperation to minimise the travelling time to 3.50 hours from any corner to Patna in the state.
For this construction of Patna Purnia Expressway and Gorakhpur Siliguri Expressway were sanctioned recently. In addition to this Raxaul-Haldia Expressway will be approved by next month.
