Hyderabad/New Delhi, March 26 -- The Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has once again extended its support to Telangana's cotton farmers by procuring cotton in large quantities at Minimum Support Price (MSP) amid falling market rates.
Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy, in a statement on Wednesday, expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for benefiting over 9 lakh cotton farmers in the state.
He highlighted that the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) has set up 110 procurement centers across Telangana and has already procured 210.19 lakh quintals of cotton worth Rs 15,556 crores in the 2024-25 crop year.
