Bhubaneswar, March 20 -- A Centre of Excellence in Skill Development will be established in Odisha, Union Minister of State for Skill Development Jayant Choudhary announced.

Choudhary, who paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan, stated that this year's budget has allocated funds for five Centres of Excellence in skill development, one of which will be set up in Odisha.

During the meeting, Choudhary and Majhi discussed the implementation of various central schemes in the state and the establishment of additional skill development centres in Odisha.
