Bengaluru, Feb. 21 -- Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on Saturday alleged that the centre of attraction at the Artificial Intelligence Summit was Prime Minister Narendra Modi rather than innovators, researchers and technology builders who are driving India's AI and startup ecosystem.
Kharge said global technology summits should primarily showcase scientific talent, startups and emerging technology leaders rather than becoming platforms for political messaging and leadership branding.
He made the remarks while launching a political attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing it of using discussions around summit protests to divert attention from core technology and economic issues.
