New Delhi, March 27 -- The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Friday informed Parliament that new accessibility guidelines for OTT platforms have been issued to ensure inclusive access to audio-visual content for persons with hearing and visual impairments.
The update was shared in the Rajya Sabha by Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr. L. Murugan.
According to the Ministry, the Guidelines for Accessibility of Content on Platforms of Publishers of Online Curated Content (OTT Platforms) were notified on February 6, 2026.
