Bilaspur, Sept. 20 -- To encourage public participation in the fight against drug abuse, the Centre has launched the Manas Helpline, a toll-free service aimed at facilitating citizens to share information and seek assistance. The initiative was highlighted today by Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar.
He said citizens can report cases of drug trafficking, illegal cultivation, and related crimes through the Narcotics Control Information Centre Helpline (Manas) by dialing 1933. The identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential.
