Centre initiates action against Infosys: NITES
Bengaluru, March 10 -- The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has initiated action against Infosys following a formal complaint by the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) over the alleged illegal termination of apprentices.
The complaint, filed by NITES, accuses Infosys of violating The Apprentices Act, 1961, and The Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, by allegedly forcing over 700 fresh graduates to sign separation agreements under duress.
