Centre awaits state nod for Bengaluru metro Phase-2, 3A
Bengaluru, May 23 -- The Union government will take up the revised cost estimate of Bengaluru Metro Phase-2 and consider the Phase-3A proposal once the Karnataka cabinet grants its approval, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power Manohar Lal said here on Friday.
The Minister was speaking during a review meeting on the progress of various urban development missions in Bengaluru. The meeting was attended by Karnataka Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh, Municipal Administration Minister Rahim Khan, Housing Minister B Z Zameer Ahmad Khan, Energy Minister K J George, Additional Chief Secretary Tushar Giri, and senior officials from the state government and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
