New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 9 -- Responding positively to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's request, the Union Government has assured that there will be no shortage of fertilisers for farmers in the state during the crucial Kharif season.

Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers JP Nadda, gave this assurance during a meeting with a delegation led by CM Revanth Reddy in Delhi on Tuesday. The Chief Minister urged the Centre to ensure an uninterrupted supply of urea and other essential fertilisers, especially for the peak agricultural months of July and August.
