Ranchi, Oct. 28 -- Jharkhand has received a significant gift from the Central Governmentas the proposal to establish four new medical colleges in the state under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model has been approved.

The approval has been granted under the Government of India's "Scheme for Establishment of Medical Colleges through PPP Mode," aimed at expanding medical education and strengthening healthcare infrastructure across the country.

The decision was finalized during a high-level meeting held in New Delhi in October 2025, chaired by the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance.
