Hyderabad, Feb. 20 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday stated that the Union Budget has allocated Rs 1.08 lakh crore to Telangana towards taxes and various schemes.

Dismissing claims of injustice to the state, he accused Congress leaders of spreading misinformation to divert attention from their six guarantees, and compared their approach to that of the BRS.

Addressing a media conference at a private hotel in Erramanzil, here, Sanjay challenged opposition parties for a public debate on the Centre's contributions versus the state government's efforts in Telangana.
