Rajahmundry (AP), March 27 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism Kandula Durgesh on Thursday announced that the Central Government has agreed to release Rs 97.52 crore for
the development of Suryalanka beach under the Swadishi Darshan scheme 2.0.
Talking to the media here, the Tourism Minister said that the Suryalanka beach located in Bapatla district would be developed with international standards to attract tourists.
Durgesh said that he met Union Tourism Minister Gajendrasingh Shekavat during his New Delhi visit recently and appealed to him to release funds for the development of various tourism projects in AP.
