Dharamshala, Oct. 1 -- Himachal Pradesh Central University, Dharamshala, and Dr Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on academic and research programmes in the fields of Biosciences and Bioinformatics.
The five-year MoU envisages cooperation in research, teaching, faculty exchange, training programmes, infrastructure sharing, and joint research projects in disciplines including zoology, agriculture, biological, physical and chemical sciences. Both institutions also agreed to recognize each other's faculty and scientists as co-supervisors for postgraduate, MPhil and PhD research, and to extend adjunct faculty status where applicable.
