Solapur, Sept. 18 -- Central Railway has achieved a key milestone by successfully conducting its first trial of the indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system "KAVACH" over a 26-km stretch between Dhavalas and Bhalwani stations in Solapur Division, Maharashtra.
"The trial was led by Dharam Veer Meena, General Manager, Central Railway, along with senior officers including Shri Maninder Singh Uppal, Principal Chief Signal & Telecom Engineer and Dr. Sujeet Mishra, Divisional Railway Manager, Solapur," said Central Railway release today.
