Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 17 -- As part of strengthening prison security, a state-of-the-art Central Intrusion Monitoring System (CIMS) with advanced sensors has been installed on a trial basis in one block of the Poojappura Central Prison.
The system, monitored from the CIMS Control Room at the Kerala Police Headquarters, is a specialised security mechanism.
The advanced security system has been set up free of cost at the Thiruvananthapuram Central Prison by Keltron on a pilot basis as part of enhanced security arrangements.
