New Delhi, May 27 -- The Government of India on Tuesday decided to bring back benefits under the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme for exporters, using Advance Authorisation (AA), Export-Oriented Units (EOUs), and Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
These benefits will apply to all eligible exports from June 1.
The move aims to help Indian exporters compete better in global markets, according to a statement by the ministry of commerce and industry.
Earlier, these benefits were available only until February 5. Bringing them back will give exporters across different sectors a fair chance to grow.
