Shimla, Oct. 1 -- The Himachal Pradesh Public Works and Urban Development Minister, Vikramaditya Singh, today announced the Central government's approval for a new bridge in Jhakri, worth Rs 135 crore. During his two-day visit to the Rampur Assembly constituency, he also inaugurated a modern gymnasium in Jhakri.

The Minister is currently assessing disaster-affected areas in the region. His itinerary includes an inspection of restoration work in the Ganvi area.
