Buenos Aires, April 21 -- Central Cordoba recovered from a goal down to register a 4-3home win over Platense in Argentina's Apertura tournament.

Franco Zapiola gave the visitors the lead at Unico Stadium before Alejandro Maciel equalized and Fernando Martinez put the hosts ahead on Monday.

Central Cordoba extended its advantage after halftime as Ezequiel Naya and Diego Barrera netted either side of Kevin Retamar's 71st-minute strike.

Bautista Merlini pulled a goal back three minutes from time but the visitors were unable to findan equalizer despite dominating in the final stages.
