Vijayawada, July 30 -- Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Government K Vijayanand suggested that the State and Central departments should work in coordination to make the state a ganja and drug-free state.

The second quarterly NCORD meeting of the Andhra Pradesh state level was held under his chairmanship at the State Secretariat last night. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretariat said that the state government had already set up an Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement (EAGLE) specifically for the control of marijuana and drugs in the state and it is working successfully.
