Kochi, Sept. 2 -- The Coconut Development Board (CDB) has rolled out a restructured package of schemes aimed at empowering farmers, improving productivity, and strengthening India's coconut-based economy.
Officials said, "the revamped programmes have been aligned with revised cost norms to address emerging challenges such as climate variability, pest and disease incidence, labour shortages, and price fluctuations."The initiatives were announced here on the occasion of World Coconut Day. The focus is on ensuring long-term sustainability and farmer prosperity.
