New Delhi, June 7 -- The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has issued an advisory to all e-commerce platforms, urging them to take immediate and effective steps to eliminate deceptive and unfair trade practices commonly known as dark patterns. In a move aimed at strengthening consumer rights in the digital ecosystem, the CCPA has directed platforms to conduct self-audits within three months to identify such practices and take corrective measures.
