Hyderabad, Nov. 26 -- The CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) celebrated its 38th Foundation Day on Wednesday, reflecting on its journey as India's first stand-alone research institute dedicated to biology since the establishment of its independent campus in 1987.
The celebrations took off with presentations from senior PhD scholars, followed by an annual progress overview by CCMB Director Dr Vinay Nandicoori. The Foundation Day lecture was delivered by IIT-Hyderabad Director Prof B.S. Murty, who emphasised the importance of experimentation, hands-on learning and institutional support for young scientific minds.
