New Delhi, Oct. 31 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today released the final timetable for the 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. In a notice issued by Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, it was stated that the 2026 board examinations for both classes will commence from February 17, 2026.
Dr. Bhardwaj further informed that in alignment with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE will conduct two board examinations for Class X beginning in 2026. This reform aims to make the assessment process more flexible and student-centric, he said.
