Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 16 -- Champions Boat League 2025 (CBL-5) will get under way on September 19 at Kainakary in Alappuzha district of Kerala.
The fifth season of CBL will feature 14 races across as many venues over three months, as part of the water festival organised by Kerala Tourism.
The title winner of the championship will receive a prize money of Rs 25 lakh, while the runner-up and second runner-up will get Rs 15 lakh and Rs 10 lakh respectively.
The topper in each venue will be awarded Rs 5 lakh, while the second and third positions will carry Rs 3 lakh and Rs 1 lakh respectively. An amount of Rs 4 lakh each has also been earmarked as bonus for all participating teams.
