New Delhi, Oct. 4 -- As part of its ongoing 'Operation Chakra-V' against cybercrimes, the Central Bureau of Investigation has conducted searches in the HPZ Crypto Currency Token fraud case. The operation exposed a sophisticated, large-scale transnational cyber fraud amounting to hundreds of crores of rupees and led to the arrest of five suspects.
A senior CBI official stated that coordinated search operations were carried out on Friday at seven locations across Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
These searches resulted in the recovery of incriminating digital evidence and financial records.
