Jhansi/Lucknow, Jan. 2 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation has named two more businessmen in the Jhansi bribery case, including Lokesh Tolani of Jai Ambe Plywood and Tejpal Mangatani of Jai Durga Hardware, along with others, in its FIR, officials said on Friday.
Earlier, all five accused, including three Central GST (CGST) officials who were arrested earlier, were produced before a special CBI court in Lucknow on Thursday. The court sent them to judicial custody till January 13.
The CGST department has initiated the process to suspend the arrested officers, and departmental proceedings will also be launched against them.
