New Delhi/Chennai, June 27 -- A CBI Court, Ghaziabad today ordered attachment of two properties of former Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer, EPFO, Regional Office, Noida, in a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case accumulated to the tune of Rs 86 lakhs over a decade-long period.
The CBI registered the DA case on January 29, 2024 against the then EPFOOffier Brajesh Ranjan Jha.
Investigations revealed that the accused public servant had acquired Disproportionate Assets amounting to Rs. 86,37,603 (153%) during the check period from October 1, 2010 to August 13, 2020.
It was also gathered that during the check period, Jha had made investment in two immovable assets--two flats in Noida--beyond his known sources of income.
