New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has coordinated the return of wanted fugitive Manakandathil Thekkethi, alias Sheela Allyani, from Saudi Arabia.
Sheela was wanted by the CBI in a case of criminal conspiracy and cheating.
Earlier, the CBI secured a Red Notice against her through INTERPOL in 2023.
"A team of CBI officials visited Saudi Arabia and brought back the accused to India today," an official said.
