Bhubaneswar, Aug. 21 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested an official of Mahanadi Coalfield Limited (MCL), besides, a private person while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe from a complainant, the investigating agency said today. The Rampur Sub-area Manager, Hirakud Bundia Mines, Mahanadi Coalfield Limited (MCL) in Odisha's Jharsuguda district besides a private person was apprehended on bribery charge. The accused Rampur Sub-area Manager demanded a bribe of Rs 30,000 from the complainant through the accused private person for assistance in a pending departmental enquiry.
