Hyderabad, Oct. 14 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have arrested Sattar Khan (52), a driver from Hyderabad, in connection with the murder of his wife in the UAE in 2013.
According to a CBI statement today, the accused had been absconding for 12 years after allegedly killing his wife while working in the UAE.
The case was registered by the CBI in April 2022 at the request of UAE authorities. Following the murder on November 14, 2013, Sattar Khan fled to India and remained untraceable. Despite the issuance of a Look-Out Circular (LOC), he evaded arrest until recently, when another passport linked to him was discovered, prompting a fresh LOC.
