New Delhi, Jan. 7 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday said that they have arrested the Branch Manager of Basti branch of Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank, and a private person, who was working as a peon in the same Bank, while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a complainant.

A senior CBI official said that they registered the instant case based on a complaint on January 5.

The accused were identified as Naveen Singh Kuldeep, Branch Manager, and Anil Kumar, the peon of the bank.

The complainant alleged that he had applied for a loan of Rupees five lakh under the CM Yuva Udhyami Yojana.
