Chennai, Aug. 16 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today said it has
arrested an accused who had been absconding for 26 years after committing a
murder in October, 1999 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The arrested accused was identified as Mohammad Dilshad, a CBI release said.
The CBI had registered a local prosecution case in the April 2022 on the request
of authorities from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It was alleged that Mohammad Dilshad had committed the murder of a person at
the premises where he was working as Heavy Motor Mechanic cum Security Guard,
in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
