Chennai, Nov. 20 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested anabsconding accused involved in a 2020 Abu Dhabi murder case registered in Kerala.
The accused was identified as Shameem KK, from Chennai, a CBI release said.
He was absconding since registration of the State Police/Kerala Case (Shafa SharifMurder Case) on May 10, 2022 and the CBI case.
Hence, LOC was issued against him and the Court split the case against him.
The case was registered by CBI on November 3, 2022 on the orders of the Kerala HighCourt transferring of Nilambur Police Station relating to murder of Indian nationals HarisThathamma Parambil and a lady named Dency Antony in Abu Dhabi on March 5, 2020.
