New Delhi, Oct. 15 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday said that they have arrested three persons in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Digital Arrest fraud, under the aegis of ongoing Operation Chakra V.

"The arrests come as part of CBI's continued efforts to dismantle transnational cyber-enabled networks involved in large-scale financial fraud targeting Indian citizens," the CBI said.

One accused was arrested from Kerala, while the other two were arrested from Gujarat. The arrests were made following the recovery of critical digital and documentary evidence establishing their active role in the conspiracy.
