Chennai, May 29 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (Banking Security & Fraud Branch and Anti-Corruption Branch), Bengaluru, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Posts, Karnataka Circle, for swift delivery of summons, legal notices through India Post.

CBI on Thursday said this MoU will facilitate dispatch and delivery of summons and legal notices through India Post's Speed Post "Book Now Pay Later" (BNPL) service to ensure secure, trackable, and timely communication.

As per the MoU, India Post will provide customized envelopes and Proof of Delivery (POD) cards bearing CBI logo and addresses to place notices and summons.
