Bilaspur (HP), Jan. 7 -- Cauliflower seed production has started for the first time in Chhakoh village of Bilaspur district, marking a significant milestone for local farmers.
The information was shared by BPM JICA Pawan Kumar.
He said the initiative has been undertaken through the joint efforts of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), the Department of Agriculture, and JICA, creating new opportunities for farmers in the region.
Under the project, cauliflower seed crops have been planted on approximately 18 bighas of land by local farmers. To promote the adoption of modern agricultural practices, agricultural experts from JICA are conducting regular field inspections and providing technical guidance to farmers.
