Lucknow, Dec. 26 -- A 49-year-old caterer was found dead under suspicious circumstances beneath the Vikramnagar bridge in the Krishna Nagar police station area of Lucknow.
The deceased has been identified as Karan Gupta, a resident of Para, who was engaged in catering work in the locality.
According to family members, Karan Gupta had left for a trip to Nepal on December 21 along with his friend Anuj and was supposed to return on December 30. However, his body was found five days earlier, on December 26.
The family has alleged that a bag and wallet containing cash and important documents were missing from his possession. They also claimed that Anuj, who accompanied him on the trip, is currently untraceable.
