Hyderabad, May 7 -- Rajya Sabha MP and National BC Welfare Association President R Krishnaiah hailed the Central Government's decision to proceed with caste enumeration as a historic achievement during the BC Round Table meeting held in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The event, attended by leaders of 96 Backward Class (BC) associations, emphasised the need for accurate data to ensure fair reservations and scientific planning of welfare schemes.
