Lucknow, April 30 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday termed the central government's decision to conduct caste census as 100 per cent victory and said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government was compelled to take this decision due to collective pressure.
Taking to X, Akhilesh wrote, "The decision for a caste census is a 100 percent victory for the 90 percent unity of the PDA. Due to our collective pressure, the BJP government was compelled to take this decision. This is an extremely significant phase of victory for the PDA in the fight for social justice."
