Chennai, Oct. 3 -- The Centre for Aerospace Research (CASR) at MIT Campus-Anna University, Chennai, successfully conductedthe first batch of Drone Piloting and Maintenance.
It was sponsored by Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) for Junior commissioned Officers and Other Ranks from September 8 to October 3.
The batch comprised 22 armed force members who had detailed for the above course, a defence release said today.
Dr. K. Senthil Kumar, Director CASR delivered the importance of Drone skill development and its challenges along with utility and employment prospects to the candidates undergoing the course as they will be starting their innings post-retirement/released fromservice.
