Ramgarh, Oct. 19 -- A theft was reported at the Volkan Bajaj showroom located at Tire Mor, Kanke Bar, Ramgarh, late Saturday night, resulting in the loss of approximately Rs 5 lakh in cash along with several important cheques.
The stolen amount is believed to be related to two-wheeler sales conducted on Dhanteras.
The incident came to light on Sunday morning when the showroom was opened. Owner Dinesh Poddar stated that the showroom was closed around 11:30 PM on Saturday. When staff unlocked the showroom on Sunday, they discovered the safe broken and cash missing. Preliminary investigation revealed that the burglars entered the showroom by removing the bathroom exhaust fan.
