Lucknow, Dec. 30 -- : A case was registered on Tuesday evening in Lucknow against former strongman MP Dhananjay Singh, Jaunpur block pramukh Mandvi Singh's husband Vinay Singh, and several of their gunmen in connection with a violent land dispute in a residential colony.
Mandvi Singh is the pramukh of Maharajganj block in Jaunpur. Her husband Vinay Singh allegedly attempted to construct a wall on the main road of a posh residential area in Lucknow. When residents of the colony objected, Vinay Singh reportedly called former MP Dhananjay Singh on the phone. The residents refused to speak with him, alleging that they were being threatened by people brandishing weapons.
