Shahjahanpur (UP), Aug. 23 -- A case has been registered against former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav at the Sadar Bazar police station for allegedly posting objectionable comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media, a senior police officer said on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi said the case was lodged on the basis of a complaint filed by BJP Mahanagar President Shilpi Gupta.
According to the complaint, Yadav's remarks against the Prime Minister were "indecent" and had caused "tremendous anger and resentment" among people across the country.
