Nalgonda, Feb. 8 -- A car plunged into the left canal of the Nagarjunasagar project in Nalgonda district on Saturday night, triggering a search operation for a missing couple.
The accident occurred near Mukundapuram in Nidamanoor mandal. Pullaiah and Padma, a couple from Kampasagar in Tripuram mandal, were reportedly trapped inside the car and went missing after it fell into the canal.
The driver of the vehicle managed to escape unhurt.
