New Delhi, Dec. 24 -- As air quality in the national capital showed improvement, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on Wednesday revoked Stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in Delhi and the National Capital Region, though stringent pollution-control measures will continue under lower GRAP stages.
In an official order, the CAQM's sub-committee on GRAP cited a sustained improvement in Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) since Tuesday, along with favourable dispersion conditions and forecasts from IIT Delhi and the India Meteorological Department-IITM collaboration, while announcing the rollback of Stage IV restrictions.
