New Delhi, Jan. 2 -- : Noting improvement in air quality in the national capital region, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) in NCR and adjoining areas on Friday lifted the restrictions under Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Stage 3 curbs, effective immediately.
However, the agency noted that curbs under the lower GRAP 1 and 2 measures will remain intact.
In a press statement, the pollution watchdog highlighted that Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) on Friday stood at 236, exhibiting an improving trend from the previous day's readings of 380, entering the 'poor' category level from the 'very poor'.
