Nellore, March 5 -- Minister for Municipal Administration, P Narayana, has made it clear that the Capital city will be constructed on 5,000 acres at a cost of Rs 64,000 crore. Talking to media here on Wednesday, the Minister said that tenders had already been invited for the works worth Rs 50,000 crore to be carried out in the capital city. He reiterated that the land for the construction of the capital city was acquired under land pooling scheme. The capital city would come up in 217 square kilometre radius and international standards would be maintained in its construction, he highlighted.
