Rio de Janeiro, Nov. 28 -- Uruguayan playmaker Agustin Canobbio scored twice as Fluminense rose to fifth in Brazil's Serie A with a 6-0 home rout of Sao Paulo.

Canobbio opened the scoring from the penalty spot at Rio's Maracana Stadium after Alan Franco handled the ball in the area.

Matheus Martinelli doubled the lead by pouncing on a loose ball to fire in from the edge of the six-yard box.

Midfielder Nonato made it 3-0 when he combined with Kevin Serna and charged past his marker before slotting in from a tight angle.

Fluminense was irrepressible, and John Kennedy extended his side's lead as he squeezed between two defenders and fired into the far corner.
